Beef Tacos with Pico de Gallo

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Lime wedges

Pico de Gallo:

  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add taco seasoning and cook according to packet instructions.
  2. In a bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt to make pico de gallo.
  3. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  4. Fill each tortilla with seasoned beef, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, and a dollop of sour cream.
  5. Serve with lime wedges.
